Greene County Farm Bureau invites Ram fans to join them for a “Football, Families, Farming and Fun” tailgate event Friday, Aug. 18, from 5 to 7 pm at Linduska Field east of the high school in Jefferson.
“Farming and football have a lot in common: hard work, commitment, integrity, an giving it your all, whether on the playing field or in the farm fields,” an invitation states. “Join the Greene County Farm Bureau and the Greene County Rams in celebrating the hard-working coaches and players on the Ram football team and the dedicated farm families of Greene County.”
The free tailgate party will include hamburgers and hotdogs, interactive farm games, a pedal tractor pull and a football toss game. All are invited.
The tailgate precedes an intra squad scrimmage to which the public is invited. Admission to the scrimmage is a bottles sports drink or a free will donation to the athletic program.
